Have you tried medicated dogfood?  My dogs were 10 to 20 pounds overweight 
at one time.  I asked my vet for help, and he put them on this medicated 
dry food.  2 cups a day for 6 months and they lost the weight and then 
some.  Plus, I walked them about 3 hours a week.

Beatiful dog btw - he's looks like he could be a big cuddle bug when he 
wanted to.
