Speaking of which I wonder what it would take technically to get 6.5.x
onto a Crimson... i.e. what binaries are missing, and how much work was
SGI shirking back in the day... it's the only machine in that entire
generation that won't run 6.5.... what's the deal?...

It's a R4400/150...jeez... anyhoo....it does run on challenges...

-OpenSGI project anyone?... reverse engineer the missing pieces....(it's
probably all the nice graphic board stuff.)
