Yes, and to make people that can't understand markup languages feel
needed.  I rarely use one, but Abiword came in quite useful for my
Resume - until I found out that Abiword *sucks* at exporting anything
even remotely good looking in anything except Abiword.  Then I went and
used OpenOffice on the Linux machine to fix it.
