[geeks] text to speech?

OK, it's time to build a new firewall, and since I'm upgrading to a 200MMX pentium, with all that unnecessary horsepower, are there any working text to speech projects for OpenBSD?  I'd like it to give verbal notice of status changes, like when my stupid ISP hangs up on me and it has to redial.  And while I am on the subject, all you guys with available cable/DSL connections, I'm jealous.  I am running a 33.6 modem 'cause my connection usually doesn't fill that.  I saw a 19.2 the other day.  But I am not jealous enough to move closer to civilazation.
