I think other people have pointed out good references for this, but I
thought I'd reiterate the memory concerns. I think our upstream told us
our routers need to have 128MB of we were to use BGP across our links to
them, where our 2514s had 16MB (or was it 24, I forget). Anyway, I
think your 2500 will not be particularly happy doing that, if it can
manage at all.
