I really like Dodge Diplomats, but I did have a Crown Vic once, and
while it was a great car proformance wise it sucked when it came to
fixing it. It was a 92, and Ford lists like 3 different part #'s for
almost any part under the hood, one for early 92, one for late 92, and
one for 93's (yes, some of the 92's used 93 parts). My Diplomats ran
from 82 to 88 and they ALL used the SAME parts. I had a cab company, and
I literally moved parts between Diplomats, heck one fender was on 4
different cars! (and one car went thru 5 header panels, I guess that
driver didn't know what brakes are for!)
