There is - kinda.  With NT I had to setup separate hardware profiles for
users - one for home, and one for work.  Sucked.  I would hope that MS
managed to do it better with Win2k - but I doubt it.

hrm.....loking at Karin's laptop....nothing jumps out at me about
network profiles, so probably not.  I could, of course, be looking
at/for the wrong thing.

There *are* issues with Win2k and NT 4 regarding DHCP leases.  Sometimes
they just flat refuse to get a new lease - then you have to issue the
command "ipconfig /renew" at the command prompt.
