LOL  Ironically enough, we first noticed the DHCP problem when I migrated 
a few subnets off of MS dhcp servers to linux dhcp servers.
I'm rolling through old emails now - I know we fixed this... maybe the 
solution was Solaris x86 on all the laptops?  *g*
