Yesterday I turned 26.

My girlfriend took off work and took me to two wineries and a restaurant 
at the Culinary Institute of America... and of course packed a picnic 
lunch.

We tasted a lot of wines, we bought a lot of wines, and the second 
winery which was actually a vineyard had a most unique proprietor.  He 
was an artist who had studied under Norman Rockwell and done 1000's of 
illustrations and paintings for early magazines in the 50's... his name 
is Mark Miller, and he gave the complete tour even though he's like 
84... and insisted on showing us (I don't think he showed the next 
group)... his new museum of art with his high-end camera (they're 
transcribing everything to digital) that is capable of grabbing each 
painting at up to 650 MB per file...

The two places were known as:  The oldest winery in America, and the 
oldest vineyard in America.  The vineyard's wines were 10 times better.

So I basically can say I double plus love my girlfriend. :-)
