I thought I'd chime in with some marginally useful information since
we're on the subject of LCD's and resolution...

At work I use my powerbook at 1152x768 (15.2" diag display) with an
additional 1024x768 screen directly to the right (dell 15" diag lcd).
The Dell screen is a piece of shit, and is always blurry or making funny
squiggles. The bump in resolution for the new powerbooks doesn't seem
like a lot, but when you do the math, its a 25% increase in resolution.
I'm hoping the new screens will be real nice. I'd also like to get one
of the 22" cinema displays we have languishing downstairs up here
(publishing people didnt like them because they dont accurately display
page white) with the new video card in the new pb. I'll be sure to get
pictures. :-)

oh, incidentally, i have a dell 17" crt, a radius 17" crt, a sun 19"
crt, my laptop 15" lcd, and a dell 15" lcd on my desk. i really like the
radius monitor the most.
