I'm reading an article on the new Media 100 machines.  At one point, the
guy says that their system, in a highend P4 system with 3 custom
processor boards is "comparable" to the speed of the software only
Discreet Flame system on an Octane2 (so, R12k, possibly dual
processor).   Yep, that's right.  With custom processor boards that they
spent millions developing, they can only comparable speed against a
software only SGI system.  I find that so funny.
