Yes, it is supposed to be very soon.

I don't think so, but I haven't actually seen any SCSI DVD-R drives
anyway.   I forget what else it is supposed to add, other than the
MAudio Revolution 7.1 for the Octane, and frankly, I'd rather use the
built in ADAT stuff anyway.
