There has to be an error.  It makes no sense that a case with half the
powder capacity, firing the same projectile through the same bore using
the same powder, can achieve 20% higher velocity.  I believe 4200fps for
a 55gr saboted Accelerator in .30-30, but .30-06 can achieve the 3400fps
range with a 100gr conventional bullet.  If they can only get a 55gr
Accelerator to 3400fps from a .30-06, their loads have to be idiotically
conservative.  That's .223 performance from 1.8 times the bore area and
twice the powder capacity.  It virtually *cannot* be correct, unless
their goal with the .30-30 was to get the highest possible velocity, but
their goal with the .30-06 was to duplicate .223 exterior ballistics,
which would be sort of like tuning a Porsche 911 GT3 to duplicate the
performance of a Dodge Neon SRT.
