Hello all,
Well, several events are caolliding, and causing me to look for a "fun"
car:
- Land Rover needs some repairs (power steering leaking, O^2 sensors
going) - it has 131K miles on it, but is starting to remind me of it's
british heritage...
- Starting a new job 1/5/2004 (the old one wasn't working out, and I
got lucky ;^)
- Turning 40 on 1/1/2004
- I want a new car
(Maybe the list is in reverse order ;^)
My thoughts are as follows - either a fun fast car (RX-8, Mustang
GT/Mach 1) or a Big F**king Truck (Suburban, Expedition) - thoughts?
I plan on keeping the Land Rover Discovery around for a while, so I
don't have a need for 4x4 truck too much, but I have 2 kids and a short
commute, so a bog truck is livable...
Anyway, with all the 0% financing, cash back rebates, I think the
"answer is out there" - ideas?
BTW, I am 240 pounds, 6' 7", so I'd like to fit in the car - I have
driven (and fit) in Nissan 240sx, recent Mustangs, and on *paper* I
should fit in the RX-8.
My wifes one requirement is that it have a back seat (to carry
kiddie-poos). (the RX-8 even has a third door ;^)
Thanks for any advice,
=====
Lionel
