[geeks] Postfix/smtpd/tls fun

Grrr.  Trying to get smtp auth working.

Error in mail log is this:
[postfix/smtpd] fatal: unsupported dictionary type: dev

main.cf says:
smtpd_tls_random_source = dev:/dev/random

This is gentoo linux on sparc.

postconf -m says:
static
sdbm
pcre
nis
regexp
environ
proxy
mysql
btree
unix
hash

So my question is, does postfix need recompiled to support dev:, or do I
configure postfix/tls to use a different source for RND()?
