   Yup, they were.  And it's that many years closer.  This was predicted 
by physicists who know a lot more about this than you or I, the whole 
industry acknowledges it, and the whole industry is working to try to 
find a way around it.

   This isn't just another "<insert non-PC computer company name here> 
IS ABOUT TO DIE!" thing.  Read some industry rags.
