That is a practice I actually agree with. We have a Mathematica (sp?)
license server at the office that checks licenses to make sure we're in
compliance. We have a set number of licenses, and all it's doing is
making sure we don't go over those. However, it won't arbitrarily shut
down and invalidate an existing license for some reason.
