Speaking of OS X and NFS, does anyone know why mounting something via
NFS under Network/Servers/yada...(a FreeBSD export with
mapall=nfsuser:users, works OK from the CLI in OS X ... i.e. all
directory permissions set for root users 775, writing a file works
fine... i.e. touch filename... etc., but the finder says the volume is
unchangeable unless A. I'm logged in as root, or B. I set perms 777? I
have created an analogous group with the same gid to be safe.. .as the
volume that I am mounting.
