I have the same feelings about overclocking, but i
accidentally clocked a PII 266 to 300, just set the jumpers
wrong, not paying enough attention.  That was back in 2000, it
has been running fine ever since, with no fan or heat sink. 
My grandfather uses it for web stuff.

I put the rock linux 686 binary install on it and it seems to
run acceptably.  Fast enough to do web and email but i
wouldn't like to try a rock compile install on it without a
week to spare.
