I love artwork of any form that's narrowly focused on obscure
subject matter. There's a woman from Texas called Irene Moon
who does musical performance art science lectures on insects.
You might think it's some sort of post-modern tongue-in-cheek
ironic thing, untill you notice all her insect tattoos.

She's amazing. I have her album.
