They still do this apparently in NTPd (same terms at least...) I 
haven't read anything more than skimming.  Got an old uga xntpd up on 
my Crimson to solve the y2K problem.  (Yes it is back from the dead 
after a painstaking board swap/skin swap with the Power Series Box 
which has an older, more robust, noisier, but working power supply)... 
so Dave M would you be able to fix a Crimson power supply?
