It started out as humor.  Then, it turned into hints, which you apparently
didnt seem to 'get'.

I think the best term would be "verbal diarrhea", or at least the mailing
list equivalent of it.

Chris, your problem is that you usually write three or four long, windy 
rambling emails per day to the geeks list.  From reading them, you seem
to like to hear yourself talk / type - and many subscribers to this list
(and others) just dont want to read "the life story of Chris Byrne", or
Dinsmore, or whatever last name you're using this year.  

Every time something new happens to you, no matter how far-fetched it might 
sound to a third party, you seem to think it necessary to tell mailing 
list(s).  

Ever thought of keeping a journal, weblog, or just writing a book?  Or, you
can get a LiveJournal; http://www.livejournal.com.

Fine; I ask you to move your long rambling discourses to the chrisbyrne
mailing list.  I created it as a joke, but its gotten to the point where
if you want to ramble on about yourself, whats happened to you lately, etc,
you should use that list.  that way, people who want to read it, can read
it, and the rest dont have to skip over it on the geeks list.

As for your spam filter post - do you not realize that spamassassin has
been out for quite a while now, and a lot of the people here have been 
using it for months or years?  

If you want to write a long rambling product review or evaluation, do so for 
a web site or other newsletter; otherwise it just comes out as "IM CHRIS 
BYRNE.  THIS IS WHAT I WROTE TODAY.  EVERYONE READ IT, AND TOMORROW, I'LL 
SEND MORE!".

Participate in discussions - but there's no need to start two, three, or
more new threads per day with 3-page emails.  

Chris, you're a nice guy; I dont want to kick you off any of the lists
I run.  I just wish you'd calm down a bit.
