Huh? a personal radio receiver operates on a FM/AM band... a GPS receiver
operates at different bands, hence the potential for interference is far
less isolated. I believe it is a good policy to have as few "gadgets"
floating around a plane as possile....
There have been incidents of automatic pilot errors due to interference
from a passenger's hearing aid :).
