[geeks] SGI & linux

[KRM]

I thought SGI annouced the death of IRIX in 2000?  Apparently not..., 
but i thought their statement was that they would support IRIX into 2006 
whil making the transition to linux during that time frame.  Sucks, but 
i wouldn't doubt that this is the path they will be taking.
