That's the answer I got years ago when I was looking into this. Oh well.
But now the question is why can they scan text documents, and make a 
non bitmapped file (a text file) out of it, but can't do the same with 
a mechanical drawing? I would think the technology is good enough to do 
this. Is there really such a little demand for an app like this?
