That's not a really a fair comparison--they've got different target
audiences.  You'd probably compare the G4 to an UltraSPARC IIi or IIIi,
and a POWER3-II or a POWER4 to an UltraSPARC II or III.

I think the G4 would lose, and the POWER chips would win, when corrected
for clock rate.
