[geeks] cell phone/pda combo

Well, it's that time of year again.  The annual changing of
the cellphone.  

I've had a Sidekick for the last year (1 year as of yesterday) and
just today they are releasing the OS upgrade that actually allows
me to install applications beyond what shipped with the phone.

Wow, only a year to deliver on a promise that was a primary reason
I bought their phone.

Surely they'll start making applications available (everything has to
be published in their "catalog" for download) immediately, so I should
just go ahead and renew right?  (vaporware bastards)

Has anyone had any experience with the SonyEricsson P800 or P900?
