but for some reason the site seems to be down if you want me to contact 
me and I can send you the apple script that does the hack for you.

Just one word of warning, on the older iBooks it can render them 
unusable, as the graphics hardware can't support the monitor 
spanning...

In regards to the hack, its just a script that changes some open 
firmware settings.
