Or of course he could remove all the board and sell them on E-Pay with 
the description:

"EXPENSIVE MAINFRAME BOARDS!!!
NOT GUARANTEED NO DOA.
NO WAY TO TEST SO SELLING AS IS.

And then install a coffee machine into the VAX along with the Mini-ATX 
board and make it the
"1337 C0ff33 G4m1ng N0d3!"  Maybe with neon...
