CompUSA frequently has 160 Gig SATA Seagates for $100 after rebate - I've got three deployed here in x86 servers, nad all are very nice ;^) (The servers are the Dell PowerEdge 400SC $300 +/- servers with built-in SATA controllers)

Of course, to go SATA on your box might require an additional controller, adding to the expense...
