Easiest thing to do (at least for Fedora Core 2) is to get the
custom via C3 FC2 boot CD with a patched kernel:
http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=120685
Use it, in conjunction with the FC2 CDs, to install the OS and then
put the patched 2.6.6 kernel on the system. There you go!
