SBus FDDI ist not supported under NetBSD.

Most likely not. These cards where not made by Sun and the driver source
is (C) by that other company. So Sun can not release this code for free
and it seems that this other company is out of business / got bought by
an other company...

In theory sparc64 can run sparc binaries, but this may be broken. As
said, if you need a 32 bit environment use a 32 bit sparc64 kernel. (I
have to use a 32 bit system as I do cross compiling on that machine and
cross compiling LP64 => LP32 is a good way to trigger GCC bugs...)

Because the Sun compiler is even worse then GCC or because the code you
have to use is not written portable?
