Are you any good with a soldering iron? The most common failure in
these that I know of is a MOV (surge supression device) failing (erm,
either open or short, I forget which). They're pretty cheap to replace,
if you can solder at all. The PSU is all through-hole, not surface
mount, so easier to solder than most "modern" stuff.
