Quick and dirty... generates a descending list, prefixed by the
count:

perl -ane 'foreach (@F) { $h{$_}++ }; END{ foreach (reverse sort { $h{$a} <=> $h{$b} } keys %h) { print $h{$_}," ",$_,"\n";} }' <filename>
