I measured the power consumption of my Litle Green Monster [1] yesterday.
347 watts true RMS.
Howly SGI cow. This is only a workstation, no big, bad, evil server 
machine loaded with dozens of disks.

[1] Octane single R12k 300 MHz, 2 GB RAM, SSE + SE dual head GFX, PCI 
card cage + PCI FDDI NIC, 1 x 9 GB + 2 x 18 GB IBM UW SCSI disks.
