To put it in context, in the '96 election you are asking a Democrat to
vote for either Dole or Peront/Buchanan(forgot which one was running for
the reform party) over Clinton. Not much of a choice really... much like
a lot of Republicans voted for Bush even they do not care much for him.

The system is that f'ed up... but then again that is the whole point of
politics.
