Year ago i used to have an app that ran on Win98 called "Digital
File Cabinet".  It was a very basic document imaging system
(used any TWAIN compliant scanner). I loved it because it was
basic, cheap and worked and the files were stored as normal pics,
not in some proprietary format.

Not long after that, however, i ditched Windows and now i am
looking for a open source equivalent app.  Perhaps something
accessible via a web server.

If anyone knows of such an app, please let me know, as my
searches so far have turned up nothing.
