*ahem*   I'm much more of a Mac fan than a PC fan but I only have three
words:

Powermac 6500 case.


The worst case design Mac ever put out.  Not only do you have to pop
plastic but you have to remove buttloads of screws as well as the
subwoofer on the bottom if you're doing anything major.  The motherboard
pulls out the back sure but that's about _all_ that's easy about that
case.  Needless to say I still have one that I painted antique brass.  ;-)

Of course a close second to all this is the Sun U10 case which you have to
flip over to remove the case skin from...
