Sure, if you want to be OPTIMISTIC.  :)

Both valid points.  Similar arguments favor concealed carry for handguns.
Point 2) is especially of concern because a proper blow to the head with
a piece of carry-on luggage and now you have the air marshal's handgun.

I hear it's much better to just use lots of snakes.
