What I thought you meant was to drag the Applications over to the new
drive. This misses all the Library stuff where the serial numbers,
reg info and settings are, and all those apps that need such stuff
will be left orphaned.
The last step of a fresh install is migrating all that stuff from an
old system drive. That way you don't have to search for "lost"
activation keys for all your shareware.
