Depends on your definition of "doesn't suck".

Based on my definition g4u is in the "it sucks" category.

g4u uploads (very slowly!) via FTP what is - quite literally - a 'dd'
dump of the disk or partition.

Most of us need something a good bit more sophisticated - incrementals,
intelligent use of disk space, online backups (online being "I didn't
have to reboot my computer to use the backup utility").
