I have.  It works, with a couple of caveats:

Zope/Plone is a nightmare to try to code for if you don't already know it.
At least at the time, there was no documentation to speak of.
Zope is a memory whore.
We had issues with memory leaks,  after running for a few weeks we found
that zope was eating several gigs of RAM.  Our solution?  Cron job to
restart it every night.  Worked for us.
