I think dotproject has the modules you need to do timesheets & 
invoiceing.... have a look at * *http://www.dotproject.net/

it should provide the info you need .. However I have not yet had the 
time to install & test the product myself.... I have the option available
to install this via the controlpanel  on my newly leased webserver ..so 
the short description says it is possible to do timesheets ....
