Even the basic Linksys WRT54G series as shipped, has this - you have to
dig around and find the option to switch from "gateway" to "router". 
Then configure your IP addresses.

I have just loaded OpenWRT on the Linksys I have to test it out, looks
like it will do everything you want provided you read the docs.
