A tiny bit of space got folded, Geoffrey S. Mendelson was looking queer, I
opened up the spout and then poured out the comment posted here:

If you've got Quicktime Pro then export it as a .mov file with "fast
startup" checked and cut it down to 320x200 (or whatever that setting is).
 It should play fine after that if the video card is of any worth.  Since
you said MPEG-1 is ok then you should be fine.

If I had my Pismo at hand I could tell you what exactly plays on that as I
re-encoded some anime music videos to play on it.
