Go for it! I have had no problems with IBM x325 (dual Opteron) and
even an old monstrous 4-CPU Netfinity 6000R (with 4x 700Mhz Xeons and
6GB RAM). Solaris runs better (given enough RAM) than Linux does IMHO.
Dunno about their RAID or LOM stuff though.
