I bought 14 36GB SCA drives from an eBay seller last year, if I can find
the information ... Found him: eBay seller dan13408, Dan McWilliams,
dan-m at neo.rr.com, paid $25 each plus shipping. I initially ordered
twelve; one of the twelve was DOA and looked as though it had gotten
grossly overheated during UPS shipping, to the point that the sealant
had melted. When he shipped me a replacement for that, I had him add
two spares to the order.
Right now, he has three Seagate ST150176LC 50.1gb SCA disks listed, at
$9.50 each BIN. (That's a Barracuda 50, 7200rpm, 1.6" high, 7.6MS seek
time.) I know from past experience he will combine shipping, and give a
price break on multiple orders if you ask nicely. These are "used but
in perfect working condition", though, not refurbs.
