[geeks] Samsung 204B flat panel

I was browsing Best Buy today and made an impulsive purchase.  I got a
Samsung SyncMaster 204B flat panel, 20.1", 1600x1200.

I was pretty worried about doing it after years of Sony's beatiful
Trinitron CRTs, but I'm glad I did it. In fact, my old Sony tube had
deteriorated more than I knew. I can't believe how clear this new one
is.

I find the color accuracy is pretty good, so I'm not too worried about
that.  

Obviously I look at it and think, "hey, 1920x1600 would be even nicer!",
but you always do that when buying something.

I rather have something that I can stay native with no matter what
software I'm running.
