That's the point.  She wants to do some artistic shots and play a
little with the color and picture weirdness of the Lomo cameras.

She already has a very expensive 35mm SLR (Nikon or Canon.  I don't
recall.) that she loves to death but has gotten interested in the types
of pictures that turn up in a Google image search for Lomo.
