The Hammer uses a Marvell Orion 88F5182, while the D-Link units use the older
88F5181, so I'm thinking they should be compatible. If so, then I might have
what I need now.
I'll also try some of the binaries.
I don't want to put Debian on this thing, I want to mostly leave it alone.
The interesting thing will be when Hammer releases the next firmware update,
which is supposed to be soon.
I hope I can still crack the unit to get a login if I decide I want the new
features. I'm pretty sure I will.
One of the guys from Hammer talked to me, and he said they were not going to
"allow" the customer to access the unit. I'm hoping though, that they'll
bend over time or at least add a few small features I need.
